In these modern times, it is inconceivable to think about a Miss World without the melanin beauty of Africa.

So the visa ban on twenty African countries was a joke, considering the event was not a Miss middle east or Miss one continent event. Rather, it is meant to showcase diversity and inclusiveness which is the rallying point of the world today.

The Miss World event is not a political event but a celebration of the world’s diverse people and cultures. Hence the Miss World could not conform to a purely political action.
