Tara Fela-Durotoye founded the House of Tara cosmetics line in 2004. She also set up a make-up school and studio in the same year. She has been in the business of making brides up since 1998.

A lawyer by profession, she is another pioneer force to be reckoned with in the African cosmetics industry. Her House of Tara products has outlets all over Africa. She gives entrepreneural talks all over the world. And is a recipient of several awards.

As at the time of writing this script, House of Tara has 14 schools, 270 products and 23 stores all over Africa. House of Tara also has over 10,000 representatives in different countries in Africa.

House of Tara schools created a livelihood for thousands and millions of people who could otherwise have been idle and unable to discover, explore and enrich themselves from this multi-billion dollar industry.
