A university in Africa, Nigeria, Lagos State University is agog with celebrations. Not only of the fortieth graduation ceremony of the school, but also the record breaking result of one of their fresh graduates, Miss Ojo Yusuf. It is the first time the school will have a perfect result like hers, since her inception in 1983. She had a cumulative GPA of 5.0 earning herself a first class degree in Law.
Miss Ojo Yusuf, the daughter of a journalist and business woman said in spite of some hardships she faced in the course of obtaining her degree, she was unfazed and focused on the goal of being the best in her course of study.
The governor of Lagos state rewarded her brilliant result with a cash gift of about ten thousand ($10,000). Her school rewarded with a cash gift of about $600 dollars too. Two thousand dollars ($2000) was gifted to her by the Oniba Ékùn Òbà Suleiman Rájí Ashade the king of the town LASU is located.
